Yesterday Sophia said to me, "I'm pretty and Grace is cute, and you are..." As she was searching for a word, Grace pipes in with "A square." I don't know what that means really, but I'd agree.

If you were an insect, what would you be?

Yesterday we read a book called "Little Miss spider". Then the girls wanted to pretend they were bugs. We somehow ended up as roly-polies. We kept curling up in little caves (the closet) and under rocks (blankets). But then it got real stinky in one cave so and I turned back into a grumpy old human. But the little roly-polies kept on roly-polying.
The best part of my day yesterday was when I put Sophia to bed. She wanted me to stay and sleep by her (she likes to fall asleep holding my hand). So she says matter-of-factly, "The big roly-poly needs to go to bed too, daddy."
